THE ROSE Takes Their Final Bow at the ‘Rosetopia’ in Manila Before Their Hiatus

Written by: Gerrica Viado

The Rose has officially wrapped their 10th-anniversary Rosetopia world tour in Manila on August 15, 2026, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The stop in Manila officially begins the band’s final series of live performances before their indefinite hiatus, closing a chapter of fast-paced running, music, and work to take the time to focus on themselves and take a much-deserved break.

The band opened the night with their latest release, Utopia, the title track from their upcoming self-titled 10th-anniversary album, ROSE. With just one song, the crowd went wild, and Filipino Black Roses made sure the members felt just how much they had missed them.

Then, they followed up with crowd-pleasers Lifeline, You’re Beautiful, Red, and Yes, which all got the crowd hyped up and ready for the rest of the night.

After reintroducing themselves to the crowd (as if they’re not what the people came for!), they performed Walking on Clouds, an unreleased track they debuted during the tour. Woosung took the time to go down the stage to give fans an up-close, personal, and unforgettable experience.

Then, the group played more songs that got the fans reminiscing about their journey with the band, including Nebula, Shift, and Time.

Back To Me, Alive, and Control got the crowd singing (and screaming) their hearts out. The fans were up on their feet when they played Cosmo, which features synthesizers and electronic sounds that fans just couldn’t help but jump to.

The band got real with Filipino Black Roses for a moment, personally telling them about the group’s process for a planned and peaceful choice to take a break from group activities to focus on rest, individual growth, and personal endeavors.

Then, they turned back time with some of their classics, such as Sorry, She’s In The Rain, Beauty and the Beast, and Sour.

And to officially close off the night, they performed the last two songs for their encore, Blue Moon and Utopia, both from their upcoming 10th anniversary album.

Before leaving the stage, the members threw roses to a few lucky audience members and then took a photo with a big cloth banner filled with fan messages from those who were with them at the show.

Then, Woosung, Dojoon, Hajoon, and Taegyeom took one final bow before Filipino Black Roses, not as a goodbye, but rather ‘a see you later’. A promise to see and meet each other again after they’ve recharged and are ready to make more music as The Rose.
