After 4 years of being in a romantic relationship, Lee Jong Suk and IU have confirmed to have broken up!
On July 10, IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment and Lee Jong Suk’s agency ACE FACTORY both confirmed that the couple had split up, and they have decided to remain good colleagues.
IU and Lee Jong Suk confirmed their relationship in 2022. They both shared heartfelt letters expressing their gratitude toward fans who congratulated them.
Moreover, when Lee Jong Suk won a Daesang award at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards, he delivered his speech and had his sweet confession saying, “I want to say that I liked you a lot for a very long time and that I respect you so much.”
This is sad news for all of us, but let’s continue to support them in their individual projects and future endeavors. IU is currently preparing a new album and concert, while Lee Jong Suk is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Disney+ drama, The Remarried Empress.
