IU reveals Yu Subin and Lee Yeon are the only two friends who came to her grandfather’s funeral and expresses her gratitude to them
IU, Yu Subin, and Lee Yeon’s friendship is so admirable!
On Episode 644 of the Korean variety show, I Live Alone, which aired on April 24, Subin appeared as their special guest, sharing his daily life. He spent quality time with his Perfect Crown co-stars, IU and Lee Yeon, strolled along the Han River, and visited Subin’s favorite Chinese restaurant.
While they were eating, IU opened up about how her mom and dad felt really grateful to Subin and Yeon for coming to her grandfather’s funeral. “Only the two of you came among my friends. You guys came right away, so I was moved too,” she said.
IU continued, “When you came, two of you brought chocolates. Maeng Dal (Subin’s nickname given by IU and Yeon) brought every chocolate flavor in a zipper bag. Because the family members are tired, it was of great help to me. After that, Yeon came. Yeon brought chocolates too.” She thanked them, saying, “Thanks to you guys.”
IU also mentioned that when her mom and dad saw Subin, they said he was handsome in real life. “Everyone was surprised then, they were like, ‘He’s that guy?'” IU spoke to Yeon, saying, “He’s really happy when I mention this (handsome).” Subin responded, “I love it.” Their interaction was simply adorable!
After eating together, they headed to a photo booth studio and took pictures together. There, amidst playful poses, they captured the joyous moments of their memorable day, forever preserving the shared laughter and cherished memories. Such a pure and genuine friendship!
Subin also shared that this video is from their 2-day, 1-night trip to Jeju Island. So cute!
