How to Make the Most of Your First or Nth Concert Experience
Happy New Year, fellow fangirls/fanboys! Can you feel it? 2026 is officially here, and that means another year of screaming, crying, and fangirling your heart out at Manila concerts. If your 2026 resolution is “attend as many concerts as humanly possible,” then consider this your ultimate guide to surviving them like a pro. Trust me, after attending enough concerts to fill a scrapbook (and my phone gallery), I’ve learned a thing or two about what to do and what not to do.

Arrive Early
Yes, arriving early is key. Yes, the merch lines are terrifyingly long. But five hours early? Unless you’re gunning for the front row like a true fangirl warrior, you can survive with a strategic arrival. Grab your spot, sip some water, snack smart, and save your energy for the actual screaming part.
Respect Personal Space
I know, I know, when your bias appears on stage, you want to jump, flail, and hug literally everyone. Don’t. Keep your arms in check, don’t lean on strangers, and remember: everyone is here for the same reason, it is to fangirl safely.
Snap, Don’t Block
We all want TikToks and Instagram stories, but holding your phone up the entire concert? If you can (only a suggestion), take a few pics, a short clip, and then live in the moment. Your bias will notice your energy way more than your camera angle.
Fanchants Are Life
Learn the chants before the concert, your future self will thank you. Scream your heart out, but don’t yell over solos. Trust me, the perfect balance between chaos and coordination is what makes Manila concerts legendary.
Dress Like a Fangirl… But Comfortably
Merch? Yes. Super thick clothes? Maybe not, but if you can handle it, why not? Manila heat + packed venues = sweat and regrets. Lightweight clothing, comfy shoes, and minimal accessories will save you from a meltdown while still looking cute for that iconic concert selfie.
Hydrate, Stretch, Repeat
Concerts are emotional rollercoasters and physical workouts. Bring water, stretch your hands, do a mini fangirl dance warm-up, and maybe even breathe like a Zen master. Your body (and throat) will surely thank you later.
2026 is OUR year, fangirls/fanboys! Manila concerts are chaotic, magical, and unforgettable. Sing, scream, cry, dance, fangirl responsibly, and leave with memories that’ll last a lifetime. Your bias will feel your energy, your co-fans will thank you, and the concert gods might even smile on you.
So grab your lightstick, rally your squad, and let’s make 2026 the year of epic concerts. So, see you at the front row (or at least somewhere you can see without neck strain)!
