Upcoming rom-com drama, “Would You Marry Me” starring Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min is coming to Disney+ this October!
A new rom-com series is coming to Disney+ this October!
Would You Marry Me tells the story of a fake marriage between Yoo Me Ri and Kim Woo Ju. When Me Ri finds out she’s won a newlywed lottery for a luxury townhouse worth $5 million, she offers Woo Ju, a man who shares the same name as her ex-fiancé, to be her fake husband to prove to the lottery board that she’s happily married and is still eligible to claim the house. But with an investigator ever-lurking, things won’t be as easy as they seem.
Starring Choi Woo Shik as Kim Woo Ju, the fourth-generation heir to Korea’s oldest bakery, who will be the fake husband to Yoo Me Ri.
Known for his impeccable acting calibre, earlier this year Woo Shik starred in a heartwarming series, Melo Movie. He is also known for his character Choi Woong in Our Beloved Summer and is popular for his role in the award-winning film, Parasite.
Playing the role of Yoo Me Ri, Jung So Min transforms into a local designer who has recently separated from her fiancé.
Last year, So Min showed her charm in a rom-com series, Love Next Door. In her drama, Because This is My First Life, she played the role of Yoon Ji Ho, who also gets into a fake marriage. She played various roles that showed her versatility in acting.
Would You Marry Me is penned by Lee Hana and is helmed by Song Hyun Wook and Hwang In Hyeok.
Catch this 12-part rom-com series on Disney+ starting on October 10.
