Netflix unveils first look at Season 2 of One Piece, announces early Season 3 renewal

In a recent annual One Piece Day celebration in Tokyo, Japan, Netflix shared a first look at the highly-anticipated season two of the epic pirate adventure series, One Piece, which will be returning in 2026.

Matt Owens will be joining Joe Tracz as a co-showrunner for Season 2. Meanwhile, Ian Stokes is set to join Joe Tracz as co-showrunner for Season 3. The show’s executive producers are Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda.

The series has also been given an early Season 3 renewal, which will begin production in Cape Town, South Africa, later this year.

ONE PIECE is a live-action pirate adventure created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix. It is a legendary high-seas adventure that follows Monkey D. Luffy as they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.
