ROCKY fills the hearts of Filipino HAMOs during his “Fill in the Blank” fan-concert in Manila

ROCKY has finally come back to the Philippines after 9 years, for his first solo fan-concert in Manila, “Fill in the Blank” held at the SM North EDSA Skydome last August 2, 2025. He previously went to the country as part of ASTRO, who were among the K-pop groups that performed in Manila for the 200th episode of “Show Champion” in 2016.

Starting off with the song “Find Me,” which ROCKY wrote when he was in hiatus and wishing for the fans to find him, the K-pop singer was welcomed with loud cheers that conveyed how much Filipino HAMOs waited to see him again. Followed by heartfelt performances of dynamic tracks like “Read You” and “Masterpiece,” ROCKY showcased his strong vocals and genuine connection with the audience.

To give a fun twist on the event, ROCKY prepared a TMI segment where he showed short videos taken upon his arrival in the Philippines, sharing little moments that he appreciated enough to capture. Here, he also mentioned how he wanted to try Jollibee and was pleasantly surprised when the staff had already prepared it for him.

Switching up the atmosphere, ROCKY proceeded to perform a cover that he did for Immortal Songs 2, “Ecstatic Confession.” His own style of 2NE1’s “I Am The Best” gave the audience high energy due to his strong performance.

The fans also had a lively time during the segment where ROCKY had to say and guess the meaning of Filipino expressions, including “Mahal kita,” “Kinagagalak kitang makilala,” and “Sobrang miss kita,” inducing laughs and meme-able moments. ROCKY changing the lyrics to his song with “Manila, on my mind” was also a nice touch to shout out the Filipino fans, who were tireless in cheering for him and calling him “Pogi! Pogi!”

ROCKY once again wowed the audience as he delivered live vocal excellence with “We still love you” and his OST, “Book Mark,” which became more special with the lyrics translated in Filipino flashed on screen. The highlight of the night was ROCKY’s “Yes or No” performance, where he came down the stage and took a much closer look at the fans as he went around the event hall.

ROCKY also showed off his latest single “Ba Ba Bye,” along with tracks from his ROCKYST and BLANK albums, such as “Chameleon,” “Jealousy,” and “Music is My Life,” giving fans a chance to listen to his music live and witness his passion for performing in person.

Meanwhile, HAMOs prepared a video project for ROCKY, a cake, and clover-shaped hand banners saying, “Always be with you: The moment I am with you, our hearts are the same, back then, and now HAMO ♡ ROCKY will be together FOREVER.” ROCKY said he was really touched that the fans prepared so much for him.

After finishing the official songs for the concert, ROCKY returned on stage for an encore with “On My Mind,” hyping the audience up one last time as clover-shaped confetti rained down from above.

ROCKY named his fan-concert in hopes that fans to cover the empty spaces with him. And at the end, he thanked the Manila crowd as they were able to fill in the blank. With that, ROCKY said that he will be back next time, showing a cooler version of himself.

Special thanks to Wish Us Luck for making this event possible.
