ICYMI: NIKE collaborated with Jackson Wang for Air Max Night!

Shanghai’s West Bund was transformed into the Nike Air Max Innovation Lab on March 26. Eight themed experience spaces created an immersive journey across three dimensions: product innovation, athletic energy, and cultural resonance. Nike Air Max Night paid tribute to the brand’s pioneering experimental spirit, inspiring the younger generation to push boundaries, explore the unknown, and unlock their limitless potential.

Jackson Wang once again showcased his trailblazing spirit as the creative curator of Air Max Night in Shanghai. Inspired by the Air Max Dn8, he made “Footstep in Shanghai” space—eight extraordinary zones that transcend perception, offering a diverse experience of culture, music, and art. Furthermore, some of the participants were Verdy, Eric Nam, Duke Dennis, and Jason Nguyen, among others.

Moreover, it’s been decades, and Air Max continues to embodies Nike’s boldest innovations and experimental spirit. In 1987, the groundbreaking visible Air cushioning technology made Air Max a symbol of performance-driven aesthetics.

The revolutionary Dynamic Air technology will continue its legacy with its “Unleashing the Unknown” concept. Its cushioning system delivers a surge of energy with every step, from heel to toe. Additionally, Air Max Dn8 combines cutting-edge innovation with bold colors and striking designs, fully embracing the essence of contemporary youth culture.

Air Max has never needed a definition. To me, Air Max is a cultural symbol, with every Air unit carrying the experimental achievements of countless innovators. It’s an honor to be the creative curator of this year’s Air Max Night. Through this immersive space, I hope more people can experience the charm and pioneering spirit of Air Max. I want young people to see—true style is always born in moments that break the norm. — Jackson Wang
