Hanteo Music Awards 2024: Whosfandom Award voting to open this December 2

Hanteo Global, the organizer and host of the Hanteo Music Awards 2024 (HMA 2024), has announced that voting for the Whosfandom Award category will officially begin on December 2nd.

“We’re excited to celebrate the vibrant relationship between artists and their fandoms through the Whosfandom Award.”

The Whosfandom Award honors both the K-pop act and the fandom that exceptionally supported them throughout the year. Currently, it is the only award in South Korea that directly celebrates fandoms. It will surely be a meaningful recognition for both the fans and the artist!

For HMA 2024, the voting process will feature a new approach to increase participation worldwide. The competition is divided into male and female artist categories.

Voting Phases the Whosfandom Award

First Phase (December 2–6, 2024): Voting will focus on the Top 40 male and female artists selected. Fans can participate through the official Hanteo Music Awards X (formerly Twitter) account.

Second Phase (Following First Phase Results): Voting will narrow to the Top 16 contenders and take place on the global fandom platform, the Whosfan app (IOS/Android).

After the winners are announced, additional voting rounds for other HMA 2024 categories will continue on the Whosfan app.

From February 15-16, 2025, the award ceremony will take place at the Jangchung Arena, Jung District, Seoul. Voting platforms are through the Hanteo Music Awards X account and Whosfan app.
