SHINee’s Taemin celebrates 10th solo debut anniversary with new EP “ETERNAL”
SHINee’s Taemin is back as a soloist with his 5th EP “ETERNAL”! This marks his first comeback this year as he celebrates the 10th anniversary of his solo debut and is promoting double title tracks.
The first title track “Sexy In The Air” has an electric guitar sound that highlights Taemin’s intense energy. It sends the message of having a firm self-identity and pride, wanting to go through change, and being able to express oneself freely.
The second title track “Horizon” is an upbeat dance song with modern synth-pop elements and a dynamic melody. Its lyrics tell Taemin’s story of trying to grow out of the mold and break away from familiarity.
This fifth mini album holds special meaning as it is Taemin’s first produced album in which he participated in the entire production process from planning to music video.
The “ETERNAL” EP serves as Taemin’s first self-produced album where he participated in the entire production process. It contains his will to solidify his identity as an artist and show the changes he has gone through over the years.
Overall, the EP consists of 7 songs including “G.O.A.T,” “The Unknown Sea,” “Crush,” “Deja Vu,” and “Say Less”.

Meanwhile, Taemin is set to hold his 2024 World Tour “Ephemeral Gaze” stop in Manila at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 24.
