eaJ wrapped up his “When the Rain Stopped Following Me” Tour in Manila last night

Last Sunday night was one of those nights that will stay with us, PH Jars, forever. eaJ successfully wrapped his “When the Rain Stopped Following Me” tour at SM North Skydome, and it was everything fans hoped it would be.

From the moment eaJ showed up in the fan zone and promoted his official merch, fans knew they were in for something special. He has a way of connecting with the fans and that’s rare and deeply personal. When he performed ‘Voices,’ ‘Come Over,’ and ‘Burn,’ the raw emotion in his voice sent shivers down my spine. PH Jars can’t even stop jamming and jumping when he also performed his songs, ‘Mad,’ ‘Lennon,’ ‘Safe in the Rain,’ ‘Friendly Fire,’ and many more. It was as if he was laying his soul bare for everyone in the venue.

Finally, when he performed ‘When the Rain Stopped,’ I and all the fans could feel the weight of the lyrics in every note—his journey, his struggles, and especially the strength it took for him to get to where he is today. During the concert. eaJ took his time to speak to all the fans, sharing his thoughts, and the Tagalog words he learned, and it felt like a conversation between old friends. He even joked about the little things to the fans.

The setlist was a perfect mix of his old and new tracks, as each song resonated with the crowd in different ways. Then, just like that, the two-hour concert was over. The final notes of ‘Car Crash’ lingered in the air as thanked everyone for being there and supporting him through his journey.
