Let’s get to know ZEROBASEONE’s main vocal, Kim Taerae

Kim Taerae, a talented singer and idol under WAKEONE, has quickly made a name for himself as a member of the boy group ZEROBASEONE. He began his career when he joined KBS’ idol reality survival show, “Top 10 Student,” showcasing his amazing vocal skills and his determination to become an idol.

However, his major breakthrough came in 2023 when he participated in Mnet’s popular survival show “Boys Planet.” Through this survival show, he impressed not only the judge but also the “star creators,” ultimately securing 6th place and earning his spot in ZEROBASEONE.

Educationally, he pursued his studies at Seoul Cyber University and is an alumnus of Cheonan Ssangyong High School, where he balances his budding idol career with his studies. In addition, before officially debuting, he continuously trained for 2 years and one month, a period during which he worked tirelessly to refine his singing, dancing, and performance skills.

Finally, his hard work paid off when he debuted with ZEROBASEONE last July 2023. The group’s debut mini album, ‘Youth in the Shade,’ was well-received and loved by ZEROSES, marking a significant milestone in his career.
