INFINITE’s Lee Sungyeol confirmed to star in new weekend drama “Iron Family”

On June 24, it was announced that INFINITE’s Lee Sungyeol was confirmed to be cast in the new KBS drama “Iron Family,” set to be released in September.

“Iron Family” is a black comedy series about three generations of a family who are cleaners. After receiving money by chance, the wrinkles of their life start to smoothen out and the family is given hope that they can iron out their dreams.
Lee Sungyeol, an idol-actor known for his various dramas such as “Numbers,” “Love Returns,” “D-Day,” and “Hi! School – Love On,” will be playing the role of Choi Hyung Cheol. In the drama, he is an inspector who graduated from the police academy, and is looked down on by his family consisting of a professor, painter, prosecutor, and doctor. He is also anticipated to have a love interest at their police station.

Additionally, actors Kim Jung Hyun, Geum Sae Rok, Choi Tae Joon, and Yang Hye Ji were also reported to star in the drama.
