2PM’s Taecyeon confirmed to appear in new Japanese movie “La Grande Maison Paris”
Movie actor Taecyeon of 2PM is back as he will appear in the Japanese movie “La Grande Maison Paris”!

“La Grande Maison Paris” is a film adaptation of the Japanese drama “La Grande Maison Tokyo” that aired in 2019. The main actors who starred in the drama, such as Takuya Kimura, Kyoka Suzuki, Ikki Sawamura, and Mitsuhiro Oikawa, have teamed up once again for this movie.

“La Grande Maison Paris” depicts the story of genius chefs Natsuki Obana (played by Takuya Kimura) and Rinko Hayami (played by Kyoka Suzuki), who received three Michelin stars in Japan and will open a restaurant in Paris as the first Asians to do so.
Taecyeon will play the role of Rick Yuan, a Korean-Canadian pastry chef who often clashes with the charismatic main chef Natsuki Obana. In the movie, Rick Yuan is shown to have amazing cooking skills, a special passion for desserts, and fluency in 3 languages (Korean, Japanese, and French).

Taecyeon is an idol-actor known for his lead roles in dramas such as “Heartbeat,” “Blind,” “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy,” “Vincenzo,” “Save Me,” “Bring It On, Ghost,” and “Dream High,” among others.

Currently in the post-production phase, “La Grande Maison Paris” is set to be released in Japan this winter.
