Yves makes official solo debut with 1st EP “LOOP”

Yves has finally released her 1^st EP “LOOP,” marking her official debut as a soloist 7 years after she first became an idol.

The “LOOP” mini-album conveys Yves’ desire to break free from the cycle of adhering to a set of rules, and explore on her own instead. It aims to show Yves’ maturity as an artist and the musical direction she wants to take.

The title track “LOOP” is a song that expresses one’s wish to escape from the dull routine of repeating everyday life, with its addictive beat. It features rapper Lil Cherry, who’s known for her attractive and unique flow. Through this song, Yves takes on the house genre and presents her new charms that she hasn’t shown to the fans yet.

Overall, the EP contains 4 songs of different genres including “DIORAMA” which has a R&B sound that conveys the emotions of meeting the ideal version of oneself, “Afterglow” which expresses the subtle feelings of encountering an ex-lover, and “Goldfish” which is a warm song dedicated to the fans.
