Jeong Yein to take on her first lead role in musical “Carmilla”

Jeong Yein, a member of the girl group Lovelyz, will appear as the main character Carmilla in the musical of the same name.

“Carmilla” is a musical about the dangerous yet beautiful love story between Carmilla, an interesting vampire, and Laura, an innocent human girl.

The musical will begin on June 11, and be performed at the Link Arts Center in Seoul until September 8.

Meanwhile, Jeong Yein has previously shown her acting skills by appearing in the web drama “The Blue Sea” and tvN’s “Criminal Minds” in 2017. Last year, she took on her first musical acting role as a supporting character, Scaramouche, in the musical “We Will Rock You”.
