Fan theories about Disney+’s ‘Blood Free’, a demand for a sequel!
Disney+’s Blood Free, starring Han Hyo Joo and Ju Ji Hoon, concluded last May 8, and yet, it’s still the talk of the town!
Blood Free is a thrilling conspiratorial drama that follows the story of Yun Jayu (played by Han Hyo Joo), the CEO of BF, a biotechnology company that produces genetically engineered cultured meat. Along with her bodyguard Woo Chaewoon (played by Jun Ji Hoon), they try to look for the people who are a threat to their company and what they are fighting for.
Woo Chaewoon is dedicated to protecting Yun Jayu and as the story goes on, they discover new things that could be an aid to what they are looking for.
With its promising plot, fans cannot stop talking about it and they even come up with fascinating theories. The series ended with many unanswered questions and fans want more and are begging for a season 2.

Yun Jayu’s soul is in Woo Chaewoon’s body
In the ending, we see Chaewoon lying in a hospital bed alone, with Jayu’s voice echoing around him. Is Jayu’s soul inside of him? Is it possible?
As we’ve seen with Chaewoon, he acquired a sudden abnormal strength after his operation. With BF’s advanced biocell technology, they can make someone a superhuman.
Other than a complete and successful transplant using cultured organs, will it be possible for BF to transfer souls too?
Fans think it is possible considering BF’s capabilities.
Yun Jayu and Woo Chaewoon are alive and hiding
Due to their explosive revelation of a successful cultured organ technology, making organ transplants and cures of terminal diseases possible, Yun Jayu and the entire BF company managed to make an enemy of one of the most powerful men in their country, the Prime Minister.
To protect themselves and stay alive, Jayu and Chaewoon could be hiding somewhere unknown, formulating ideas and planning so they can come back stronger than ever. Jayu and Chaewoon are eager to fight for what is right and that is what fans are hoping to see if there is a possibility of a season 2.
The consciousness of BF’s AI assistant, Jang Yeongsil, was preserved in Woo Chaewoon’s body
Citing the mysterious ending with only Chaewoon alive, fans think that On San (played by Lee Mu Saeng), Jayu’s longtime friend and confidant, must have taken the initiative to preserve Jang Yeongsil data and transfer it into Chaewoon’s body.
If this happened, fans think this would ensure BF’s future. Additionally, this would bring Chaewoon and Jayu closer as more than her protector.
