Flower Road with NCT DOJAEJUNG: A Fan Celebration

Being a fan, nothing beats a fan gathering may it be a watch party or a cup sleeve event to celebrate their favorite artists. For some, it may not mean anything but for fans, it is where they are able to share and show their love and support without any judgment. It is their safe place—a place where like minds and hearts come as one and just enjoy each other’s company.

Last April 20, Flower Road 417 held a unique cup sleeve event called, “Flower Road” was held at 59 Flower Cafe in Makati from 1 pm to 6 pm. The event was a come-and-go event where fans got to spend some time with their fellow NCT DOJAEJUNG fans.

It became a unique cup sleeve event because they changed it to wrapped fossilized flowers instead of using cup sleeves. Making the event more memorable, fans who registered online last March 21st received their merchandise kits, including stickers, heart button pins, photocard, postcards, keyrings, and photocard holders. But that’s not all, fans were also able to receive additional gifts from Flower Road 417 which included stickers with artwork commissioned exclusively for the event, a postcard with a photo lent by Jaehyun’s fansite (@JummieJae), a missing NCT DOJAJEJUNG poster made by Flower Road 417 and ribbon laces for fan dolls. 

Apart from the fan kits, fans were also able to receive other freebies that multiple fans generously prepared to give their fellow fans that day, making the celebration of NCT DOJAEJUNG’s anniversary even more unforgettable. 

But the gift of giving didn’t end there, because aside from all the things that had been mentioned. Flower Road 417 had also prepared a Giveaway for all the event attendees, which included Jaehyun’s rare and sealed Eau De Parfum as the major prize. 

The winner of the major prize, @NE0CTURNAL was asked three questions related to Jaehyun which she answered perfectly making her deserving of the prize. 

The Flower Road event would not have been made possible without the support of its sponsors and all NCT DOJAEJUNG’s fans. They would like to thank those who have supported them since day 1 and also hope to continue their fan initiatives for NCT DOJAEJUNG and their fans in the future with even better and more generous projects.

Being a K-Pop fan isn’t just about the  “kilig” moments. Because being a fangirl and a fanboy also teaches us a lot of things that help our self-development like being creative, independent, resourceful, and the list just goes on. But one of the things that fans are always thankful for being a fangirl and a fanboy is the safe place that it provides. The comfort that our K-Pop idols provide especially those who no longer find comfort in the real world. A haven that we wish to continue not only for us but for the generations to follow. 

All in all the event was a success, not only by accomplishing a full house from our registered and walk-in attendees but also with the smile that each one of them wears as they leave. 

The Flower Road 417 looks forward to more adventures and misadventures as they all continue to walk down the Flower Road.
