A closer look at UNIS’ captivating cover performances

Meet the newly debut talented girl group UNIS! From the survival show Universe Ticket, UNIS consisting of 8 members, Hyeonju, Nana, Gehlee, Yoona, Kotoko, Yunha, Elisia, and Seowon, has definitely showcased their talents and skills throughout the whole show.
Recently after their awaited debut last March 27, 2024, 3 of the members (Elishia, Seowon, and Gehlee) covered various songs from different countries in one of the 1theK Originals YouTube uploads. Surprising both UNIS fans and fandoms from the song covered by them.
One of their covered songs that went viral is “Pantropiko” by P-pop Girl Group BINI. It was an unexpected drop from UNIS that showed their vocals well. It made nonfans discover more about UNIS and their talents.
Aside from Pantropiko, they also covered Contigo by KAROL G, Tiësto, TEXAS HOLD ‘EM by Beyoncé, Any Angle by Noa, and WAY 4 LUV by PLAVE.
In case you missed it, for the first time, UNIS will hold a fansign event today in Cebu, a big step for them. Fans from around the area are excited to see their favorite idols and have a special time with them. But there’s more! UNIS will have another fansign event in Manila on May 5th and 6th. This means fans in the big city can also meet the group. It’s a chance fans of UNIS shouldn’t miss!
