The adorable connection between childhood and same-age friends Eunhyuk and Jeon So Min
If you’re a fan of Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and actress Jeon So Min, you already know the cute story of their friendship.
Both born in 1986, Eunhyuk and So Min were from Ilsan in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and went to Neunggok Elementary School. They are also celebrating their birthdays in the month of April; Eunhyuk on the 4th and So Min on the 7th.

Let’s look back at the times their connection was brought up in different TV shows:
Knowing Bros (2016)
The first time this connection was revealed was when So Min guested on the variety show ‘Knowing Bros’ and one of the members, Super Junior’s Heechul, mentioned that the two went to the same elementary school and So Min said that she danced with Eunhyuk when it was field day.
On this guesting, So Min danced to the song “3!4!” by Roo’ra, the same song that she danced to with Eunhyuk when they were younger.
Running Man (2017)
The two were reunited and were first seen together when Super Junior members came to Running Man as guests. So Min and Eunhyuk mentioned that they were classmates during elementary and middle school.
They reminisced about the old days and were also asked to dance “3!4!” as they danced to it together during a talent show in their fourth grade. Everyone was surprised at how their bodies remembered the dance after performing together about 20 years ago.
Running Man (2022)
During the introduction of the guests for the Year of the Tiger Special episode, Yoo Jae Suk mentioned again that So Min and Eunhyuk were classmates.
Fondly calling him Hyukjae (Eunhyuk’s real name), So Min once again boasted Eunhyuk’s popularity with girls in school while Eunhyuk revealed that So Min was popular as well and a bit obsessed with love even back then (true to her ‘Love Frog’ character)
Despite her foot injury and while sitting on a chair, So Min made sure to enjoy another dance time when Eunhyuk danced to Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry”
Radio Star (2024)
On his latest guesting on Radio Star with fellow Super Junior members, Eunhyuk revealed that he was a part of the crew called ‘SRD’ during his elementary days and said that he was popular in the neighborhood. He, then, mentioned So Min again and said that she liked him back then, receiving funny and strong reactions from other members.
The numerous times that their friendship story was recalled in various TV shows also just proved how they both supported each other in their respective successful careers.
