“Chief Detective 1958” starring Lee Je Hoon and Lee Dong Hwi is coming to Disney+ this April 19!
Another Korean crime drama is set to land on Disney+ next month!

Chief Detective 1958 is a prequel to the series Chief Inspector, it is set 10 years before the said drama. It depicts the story of a young detective, Park Young Han, who teams up with his three passionate detectives to fight crimes in their country.

Taxi Driver star, Lee Je Hoon, transforms into a pessimistic homicide detective named Park Young Han. He constantly opposes the country’s military government which makes him labeled as a rebel.

Lee Dong Hwi, who recently appeared in the Disney+ series Big Bet, takes the role of Detective Kim Sang Sun, a temperamental “mad dog” of the homicide team.


Moreover, actors Choi Woo Sung and Yoon Hyun Soo portray the roles of Cho Kyung Hwan and Seo Ho Jeong, respectively. They will help Sang Sun and Young Han to catch the evildoers in their country.
Chief Detective 1958 will be helmed by director Kim Sung Hoon, the man behind the breathtaking films, Confidential Assignment and Rampant.
Get ready to meet the legend this coming April 19 on Disney+.
