GORDON CORMIER AND DALLAS LIU showed their love for their Filipino Fans!

It’s been over a week since Gordon Cormier and Dallas Liu came to the Philippines to promote Netflix’s newest live-action hit series, Avatar: The Last Airbender through the press conference held by Netflix.
Everyone was in awe as they saw Gordon and Dallas coming in for the press conference which was held at Marquis Events Place in BGC. During the interview, Gordon and Dallas couldn’t hide their happiness as they felt all the love and support that they had received from their Filipino Fans.

Gordon also shared how being chosen for the character of Aang has been life-changing for him. He also told everyone what it felt like as he played the role of Aang and how easy it was for him to show the young Aang’s happy side. Though he admitted that he struggled a bit in showing more serious emotions about Aang, in the end, he could still convey those feelings.

Prince Zuko was no different as the emotions he had were so heavy and serious most of the time. Dallas, who played this amazing role, shared how he had to reach a certain point in his life that would help him work through the scenes where the negativity of Prince Zuko was needed to be shown. He also told everyone how excited he was for everyone to see the show and even teased us about how great the fight scenes were within the series.

Both Gordon and Dallas shared how each of the cast members had bonded while shooting the series. Right before the interview ended, Dallas shared his advice and wish for Gordon like an older brother when he said, “To have a strong base in your heart is extremely important. I hope the people supporting you at home keep your chin up and give you strong words of affirmation and continue to champion you through your journey.”

Just when Gordon and Dallas thought that the press conference had ended, a special and fun surprise was revealed in the form of “Appa Air” promotional video of Melai Cantiveros that left the audience and both actors with smiling faces and unstoppable laughter.
After the press conference, both Gordon and Dallas made a surprise appearance at Central Square to see all the activity zones of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER at the cinema area. Not only that, but they also spent time with lucky fans at the fan screening leaving their fans with a wonderful and priceless memory.
AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER can now be watched through Netflix.
