Park Hyung Sik accomplishes his mission to have a memorable “SIKcret Time” with PH SIKcret!

The celebration for Valentine’s Day is not over yet for PH SIKcret as they reunite with their beloved Park Hyung Sik again after 5 years at his “SIKcret Time” fan meeting in Manila last February 17 held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Let us reminisce how Park Hyung Sik accomplished his mission to have a memorable “SIKcret Time” with PH SIKcret.

Opening performance

PH SIKcret gave Park Hyung Sik a warm welcome through their loud cheers as he went up the stage kicking off the fan meeting by singing his song and Our Blooming Youth OST, Bud. Everyone was so captivated by his angelic voice.

“Hello everyone, I’m Park Hyung Sik. How are you all? It’s been a while.” He greeted everyone with the sweetest smile and said “Kamusta po kayong lahat”. He expressed that he really missed all of his Filipino fans so much. 

When Janeena Chan, the host of the event, asked him about what he looked forward to in visiting the Philippines again, Park Hyung Sik answered that he loves scuba diving and knows that the Philippines has a lot of beautiful spots for it but he’s been busy and not able to do it so he was looking forward to coming back here for scuba diving.

Getting to know him more

Park Hyung Sik shared that the reason why he named the event “SIKcret Time” is because his fandom is called SIKcret and he made this special time to spend more time closer to everyone. 

He said he was happy to finally meet his lovely SIKcret agents and before the day ended, he wanted to reminisce all the happy moments he shared with all his fans for him to see in his dreams.

Park Hyung Sik is currently starring as Yeo Jeong Woo in the medical rom-com series, Doctor Slump. When he was asked about how he reacted when he first read the script, he shared that it caught his attention because the story falls into something that he can relate and he also wants to heal and give comfort to all of the viewers that’s why he enjoyed reading it.

He also expressed that he’s glad to work with his former The Heirs co-star, Park Shin Hye again and he’s having so much fun filming with her. He is so touched by how people react to their drama reunion.

Hyung Sik also shared that when he feels sad, he hangs out with his friends, and does scuba diving, and golfing. He mentioned that doing all that helps him not to think about his problems because, for him, it’s important to refocus on something else so that we don’t feel very depressed in life.

We got to know more about him and learned that his childhood dream was to become a policeman and it shifted to a lawyer but he said that he loves where he is right now and the happiest moment of his life is right now, being an actor.

Moreover, he also mentioned that he listens to his “Wooga Squad” friend, Taehyung’s music so he hopes that everyone will get to listen to his songs as well.

Missions for Park Hyung Sik

Park Hyung Sik was given 3 missions to accomplish: physical coordination, memory, and poker face.

His agility was tested in physical coordination. He played “sipa”, the Philippines’ traditional native sport. His mission was to kick the shuttlecock many times and avoid it landing on the ground.

His sharp memory was also tested by recreating emojis that flashed on the screen in sequence. He did some cute poses too!

His last mission was singing in poker face. He needed to continue singing without any expression on his face using microphones with modifications and laughing is not allowed for him. This game was so fun!

In this mission, we got to hear him sing, Just Once by James Ingram, ZE:A’s Breath, and Suran’s Two People. He has such an incredible voice.

Interaction with SIKcrets

Park Hyung Sik got the chance to interact with his fans in the segment called, “Code Breaking Ability Test”. It’s like the game “Pinoy Henyo” wherein Hyung Sik will guess the word and SIKcrets will give clues to him.

The words Buwaya, Masarap, Labi, Sapatos, and Gwapo were among those words he guessed. Hyung Sik was so amazed by how passionate PH SIKcrets were and he said that he had a lot of fun playing games with them.

On the other hand, Hyung Sik also answered written questions from his fans. According to him, when he is on his day off, he hangs out with his friends, rests at his house, and sometimes goes to his golf lessons. He also shared that his favorite singer is Park Hyo Shin and Breath is one of his favorite songs of him. Our hearts melted when he sang it for us.

Since he was a child, he really loves music and while he was doing music, he was able to be exposed to a lot of things. He’s very adventurous and likes to try a lot of things. He said, “Maybe that led me to where I am today.”

Immense love from PH SIKcrets

PH SIKcret never fails to express their immense love and support for their precious Park Hyung Sik. They prepared a video message for him and he was so touched by it.

Throughout the night, he performed 4 songs including Justin Bieber’s Off My Face, Sung Shi Kyung’s Every Moment Of You, wrapping up the fan meeting with his song and Strong Girl Bong Soon OST, Because of You.

One of the highlights of the fan meeting was him speaking Tagalog words such as Kamusta po, Mahal ko kayo, Salamat po, chika tayo, handa na ba kayo, ang galing nyo, and many more.

“I’m not gonna forget all this energy that you gave me and remember them for my next project so I can do it better as well. You’re all so passionate and because of you, I had so much fun. You’re the best!”

He thanked all the fans for coming to his fan meeting and hopes that everyone can continue to show their love and support for his ongoing drama, Doctor Slump. “Mahal Kita!” she shouted while waving.

We all had the chance to see him up close in a hi-bye session. He’s like an angel and so charming!

Thank you our dearest Park Hyung Sik for coming back. We all had a blast! You are our best Valentine’s Day gift! We love you and we will always support you in everything that you do. We will treasure this precious moment forever until we meet again Minmin!
