“Soundtrack #2” Aim to Show the Beauty of a Classic Love Story
Last December 6, 2023, Disney+ held a press conference for their upcoming series, “Soundtrack #2”
With a new story, new casts, and an additional director, “Soundtrack #2” promises to make you a classic love story told in its unique way.
It is a story about two lovers Hyeonseo (Keum Saerok) and Suho (Noh Sanghyun) falling apart only to find each other again in different circumstances. With so many things left unsaid, with a new prospect for love coming in between K (Sohn Jeonghyuck), who will Hyeonseo choose?
Director Kim Heewon said, “Soundtrack #2” fulfilled her and Director Choi Jungkyu’s shared dream of being able to direct a drama together. She also shared that even though the story may seem to have a common theme that involves a love triangle trope, she ensured that it still has something new to show.
As for the three main casts, Keum Saerok, Noh Sanghyun, and Sohn Jeonghyuck. Each one of them shared that the main reason that they chose the project was because they wanted to work with Director Kim and Director Choi.
They also shared how they admired Director Kim’s passion for the story which resonated with how amazing the series turned out.
The actors also shared how they all prepared for their characters. Kim Saerok studied to play the piano, while Sohn Jeonghyuck studied to play the guitar. On the other hand, Noh Sanghyun perfected his gaze which shows all the raw emotions of a man who lost the love of his life, only to find her again.
Even though this was Sohn Jeonghyuck’s acting debut, he was still able to show his impressive acting skills along with being able to perform the theme song for this series.
All in all Soundtrack #2 is definitely something to look out for. A classic love story that will definitely tug your heartstrings, while listening to the beautiful music called love.
