Choi Woo Shik swoons Filipino fans with his beloved charm during Pinky Promise Fanmeet in Manila
Our Beloved Summer & award-winning film Parasite actor Choi Woo Shik recently flew to Manila to meet his beloved Filipino fans!
He started the show by giving us the feels and singing an OST from Our Beloved Summer entitled The Giving Tree by Lee Seung Yoon.
He then greeted the Filipino fans with the phrase ‘Kumusta po kayo?’ and kept on exchanging smiles, waves, and hearts with basically everyone!
A lot of his close celebrity friends also showed their warm support through video greetings.
They also asked him some questions and Woo Shik answered them wholeheartedly.
Park Seojoon asks: If you could have one superpower, what would you have?
Choi Wooshik answers: I would like to learn how to teleport and visit many countries!
Jung Yumi asks: If we travel again like shooting, is there anything you want to do?
Choi Wooshik answers: To be honest, whenever I travel, I try my best to not move around. I like staying quietly.
Park Hyungsik asks: If we travel in the summer, is there a place you want to go?
Choi Wooshik answers: Of course, I should come to the Philippines! I would look around the beaches you guys recommended.
V asks: What does “Seojinny-ne” mean to Choi Wooshik?
Choi Wooshik answers: I think the program was very realistic, we really worked hard and rested hard as well and we wanted to show the reality of those lives. In movies or dramas, we focus on the roles we’re playing, but I’m happy to show my real side as well.
Wooshik also bonded and played some games with the fans. We even saw a cute little Yeonsu!
Wooshik really wanted to show a great performance for his fans so he asked for some help from someone special – CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa!
As a president in our hearts, he sang CNBLUE’S Love Light!
He even surprised fans as we are suddenly attending the ‘Best Choi Woo Shik Awards’ hosted by Choi Woo Shik in a suit!
He presented some of his most notable works in his career as the nominees for Woo Shik’s Choice! Works mentioned are ‘Giant’, ‘The Witch’, ‘Parasite’ and ‘Our Beloved Summer’.
The actor also brought the actual trophy from the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Parasite won the award for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture’.
Fans of course prepared a special surprise fan video for the beloved actor.
He wrapped the fanmeet up and serenaded fans with a song that he collaborated with a close friend and a fellow Wooga Squad, Peakboy, titled Poom.
Undoubtedly, Choi Woo Shik gave us one heck of a show and definitely showed that he is genuinely thankful and grateful for the warm & loud support that the Filipino fans showed.
He will definitely come back to our country for more and this is officially backed up with his pinky promise!
