Super Junior-D&E brings their DElight Party to Manila!
Over the weekend, Filipino ELFs gathered to see the two members of Super Junior at the Araneta Coliseum.
Super Junior members Donghae and Eunhyuk, called Super Junior-D&E, brought their 2023 world tour fancon “DElight Party” to Manila, and it was indeed a night to remember.
The entire Araneta Coliseum was glowing with pearl sapphire blue color as their fans filled up the venue. Super Junior-D&E songs were playing while waiting for the concert to start which made the attendees more excited.
Together with a live band, Donghae and Eunhyuk opened the stage with their songs “ZERO”, “B.A.D”, and “Danger”.
After the powerful performances of the first three songs, it was then followed by a cute performance of “Sunrise”. Donghae and Eunhyuk started singing this song followed by a cameraman so you can see these two looking so cute on the screen! “Sunrise” was then followed by another fun song by D&E called “‘Bout You”. This song is one of my favorite songs by them so witnessing this live put a big smile on my face!
After their performances, Donghae and Eunhyuk started playing the game called 99 seconds mission relay which they, unfortunately, failed to accomplish. Although the duo failed, they brought so much laughter to their dear fans.
The game was followed by the segment wherein Donghae and Eunhyuk read the letters and notes that ELFs wrote for them before the concert. One ELF shared that they graduated and they received congratulations messages from both Donghae and Eunhyuk. This part of the show became a fun one as D&E and the audience continued to interact and connect through the messages written on the board.
ELFs were also requesting for D&E to do the “Gento” challenge and since Eunhyuk did this a few weeks ago, he started to dance to the challenge. Donghae, who isn’t aware of the choreography of the song, still tried to dance but ended up laughing. This, resulted in him saying “kayo talaga” to ELFs as they were teasing him.
Before they started to sing again, Donghae and Eunhyuk, together with the ELFs, sang a happy birthday to their fellow member Shindong, who celebrated his birthday a few days before their Manila concert.
The next part was followed by their song “Still You”, “Growing Pains”, “Home” and a lot more of their beautiful songs.
Donghae and Eunhyuk asked the audience to stand up as they performed “Need U”. Then, D&E started their song “I Wanna Dance” with a flawless dance break. They are not great dancers for nothing! “I Wanna Dance” made the entire venue party and dance so hard. Of course, this wouldn’t be a D&E concert without their song “Oppa, Oppa”, which made the ELFs more energized.
D&E left the stage as soon as they finished “Oppa, Oppa” and of course, ELFs were screaming for an encore! Donghae and Eunhyuk came back. But not on the stage! They started singing “Share My Love” as they walked towards the floor and greeted their fans who came to watch them. Lucky fans got to greet them up close and if you’re lucky, they would shake your hand! I was one of the lucky ones as Donghae walked towards me and shook my hands! I’m still on cloud 9 just thinking about it! He’s truly the sweetest and most thoughtful!
The fancon truly came to an end so Donghae and Eunhyuk went back on stage and they watched a video prepared by Filipino ELFs and took a picture with the entire audience.

Donghae and Eunhyuk did a Super Junior medley with the songs “Mamacita”, “Sorry, Sorry”, and “Bonamana”.
ELFs don’t even want the fancon to end so Donghae and Eunhyuk performed “Can You Feel It?” and “Hello”, which totally turned the entire venue into a party zone!

Finally, Donghae and Eunhyuk really said goodbye and ended their fancon by saying “mahal ko kayo” to all Filipino ELFs.

It was a fun-filled night with D&E and ELFs. Whenever I watch a Super Junior concert, I always feel so emotional since I grew up watching them, and seeing them perform right in front of my eyes is still a nostalgic feeling no matter how many times I watch them live. I know for a fact that even though years has passed, I will still come back and watch the first K-pop group that made me fall in love with K-pop so hard.
The DElight Party in Manila is extra special to me since after 13 years, I finally got to experience this special moment with the members and I will forever be grateful and proud that I supported this group.
Seeing Donghae and Eunhyuk as a unit, performing in a concert, made me extra proud of them. They grew so much as an individual performer and doing this duo group together is just meant to be.
I can’t wait to see more of Super Junior-D&E in the future. On behalf of all ELFs, thank you Donghae and Eunhyuk for coming to perform for us! We hope to see you again soon!
