Yuri Chapter 2 in Manila is definitely one for the books!
“I dedicated the first chapter of my life in youth and spent it with SONE and with this second chapter, and more chapters to come, I hope you stay by my side.” These words came from Yuri as she thanked Filipino SONE for dedicating their time to be with her.
Filipino SONE gathered together at the New Frontier Theater on July 9th to see the all-rounder idol at her ‘Yuri 2nd Fan Meeting Tour Chapter 2 in Manila.’
WELL-PREPARED LINEUP OF PERFORMANCES
Yuri opened her fan meet in her live performance of ‘Into You.’ The idol performed some of the greatest hits of their group such as ‘Lil’ Touch,’ ‘1,2 Step,’ Hyoyeon’s ‘Dessert’ and ‘Butterfly.’
The Filipino crowd was so hyped when she started singing the all-time fave song of SNSD, ‘GEE’ before ending the night.
THE PROGRAM
The hosts got to ask some questions to Yuri, and she was excited to answer every question asked by fans. She mentioned that she wanted to visit Bohol if time permits and do scuba diving.
And just like every idol coming here to the country, she is also looking forward to trying “Jollibee” as she heard that spaghetti and chicken were the best.
In addition, she had a chance to talk about a lot of things from her activity as an artist. Yuri also talked about her vlogging life and how she is very hands-on with her content.
She even guaranteed Filipino SONE that this event in particular will be uploaded on her YouTube Channel.
FUN AND INTERACTIVE GAMES
Yuri had a chance to play, “Tagalog” Tongue Twisters, “Tablecloth Subtraction,” and the “Decibel Game.”
Unfortunately, Yuri lost in all games prepared for her. As a result, she had to face a consequence which is to wear a headdress and do a TikTok dance challenge.
Everyone in the venue had so much fun while laughing and cheering for Yuri. Filipino SONE definitely enjoyed every moment with Yuri.
THE FAREWELL
After the games and the last song performance, Yuri had to say farewell to the Fiipino SONE in the meantime and promised to come back soon.
She expressed her sincere gratitude to all the Filipino SONE who came from different parts of the country to see her and to make fun memories with her.
The 2-hour event is definitely not enough for Filipino SONE but Yuri assured everyone in the room that she will meet everyone again soon.
