Netflix recently held its successful Tudum 2023 event in Sao Paolo, Brazil with thousands of fans attending the live event and others tuning-in online to know what new titles to binge-watch in the coming months.

What set social media abuzz is the announcement of contents coming from Asia-Pacific. Netflix is ready with more Asian contents and these upcoming titles are bringing more choices for fans to stream and enjoy.

Squid Game: Season 2

Following the global success of its first season, Director Hwang Dong-Hyuk is gearing up for another thrill-seeking second season. Perhaps one of the biggest news during Tudum 2023, the teaser introduced us to new cast members who will join Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Jun and Gong Yoo. Curious of who these new actors are? The Archies

If you’re a big fan of the Archie Comic Books who happens to love musicals too, The Archies is definitely for you! A live-action-musical set in 1960’s India, Director Zoya Akhtar gives a fresh take on a beloved classic through powerful casting and songs to give a coming-of-age story on freedom, friendships, love, heartbreaks and yes, rock n’ roll.

One Piece

The live-action adaptation of the best-selling manga of all time is finally coming to Netflix! In partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix, Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece will be brought to life by young actors from across the globe. Headlining the series is Inaki Godoy as Luffy and joining him are Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji. It’s definitely one of the biggest titles from Netflix dropping this year.

Following the success of distributing the world’s most famous K-dramas to date, Netflix has lined-up more K-drama contents for the growing Hallyu fans across the globe.
