PH Dive’s Dream Came True with IVE’s First Philippine Fan Concert!

Dreams do come true!
Last June 17, IVE had its very first fan concert at the Araneta Coliseum. A night filled with dancing, singing-along, games, and a bit of a tearful farewell. Truly a night that will be remembered for a long time, both by PH DIVEs and IVE members.
IVE started their fan concert with the iconic “After LIKE” and got the crowd pumped for what is about to come. They then performed “Take It”, then took a short break to greet their fans, then proceeded with ”My Satisfaction”, and “Royal”.
Afterwards, they began with their first game segment, which is hosted by Sam Oh. The members are paired up, with the teams being: Manila, (Yujin and Gaeul), Couple (Rei and Liz), and lastly, Hello-Hello or Halo-Halo (Wonyoung and Leeseo). The first game “I-Ting Golden Bell”. In this game, a question will be flashed on the screen, and whoever wants to answer will have to raise their hand. Whoever garners the most points in all the games will be crowned as the Prom Queens by the end of the night.
They then had an explosive performance with “Kitsch”, followed by subunit performances. Wonyoung and Rei performed Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too”, . Liz and Yujin performed an emotional cover of Jessie J’s “Flashlight”. Lastly, Gaeul and Leeseo did a dance cover of BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love.”
Their second game segment began next. The game, “Silhouette Dance”, includes having the groups guess what song it is based on the silhouette being shown. Halo-Halo ends up garnering a total of 60 points, making them the winners, and ultimately the crowned Prom Queens of the night!
IVE continues their concert with “Blue Blood”, “I AM”, “LOVE DIVE”, and lastly (or is it?) “ELEVEN”, their debut song. Of course, PH DIVEs shouted “Encore! Encore! Encore!” hoping to see them one last time. And it was effective!
Our beloved girls came back on stage, with “LOVE DIVE”, and “After LIKE”. IVE thanked the fans for their continuous support and energy throughout the concert, telling DIVEs that they noticed the banners that the fans were raising. They asked for a group photo, and when IVE was finally facing the screens on stage, PH DIVEs’ video message was shown which included a short and sweet message for our beloved group. Leeseo and Rei ended up in tears because of the thoughtful gift.
IVE showed their love and appreciation for the PH DIVEs, and promised to return.
“We really hope to come to see you soon, so please stay tuned for us. Mahal kita!”
Finally, they ended the concert with an upbeat performance of “NOT YOUR GIRL”, ending the night on a high note.

After Manila, IVE will be heading to Taipei, Singapore, and Bangkok for the rest of their Asia tour.
