The WAITING game is finally over as Cho Seungyoun is finally back in the Philippines for his ‘2023 WOODZ WORLD TOUR [OO-LI] in MANILA’ happening on June 17 at the New Frontier Theatre.
Cho Seungyoun, better known by his stage name WOODZ, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer.
He started as a member of a boy group named“UNIQ” in 2014. After the group’s activities, he continued his activity as a soloist/producer and go by the name ‘WOODZ’
Throughout his journey in music, WOODZ has developed a solid reputation in the industry and made a huge fanbase not only in Korea but across the world.
In addition, he made his second debut as a member of an idol group, X1 through Mnet’s Produce X 101 in 2019 before returning to his official solo activities in 2020.
He was also recognized through various music awards nominations under his belt and won Best Icon Award at the 2021 Asia Artists Awards.
Some of his works that gained much attention were his first EP Equal including the title track “Love Me Harder,” and his second EP Woops! (2020), full album Set (2021), 3rd EP Only Lovers Left (2021) with hit double tracks “Kiss of Fire” and “Waiting”.
Early this year, WOODZ released his new single “Abyss“, followed by an announcement of his world tour, 2023 WOODZ WORLD TOUR [OO-LI].
Manila being included as 5th on the list, Filipino MOODZ can definitely expect a well-curated show made by WOODZ exclusively for the fans.
