“Light Up the Pink” campaign is a celebration of Blackpink‘s highly anticipated comeback, “Pink Venom”.
Gearing up for its new release, Blackpink launches the “Light Up the Pink” campaign in various cities around the globe.
As shared via YG’s official Twitter page, famous landmarks turn pink from August 18 to August 19. Locations include Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, New York and Los Angeles, USA.
Indeed, the “Light Up the Pink” delighted Blinks all over the world, marking a new era for the highly-awarded girl group. N Seoul Tower in South Korea and the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City were the first landmarks lighted pink.
In addition, Tokyo Tower, Sinar Mas Plaza, Central World and Santa Monica Pacific Wheel are up next.

Meanwhile, Universal Music Group also launches light up the pink scavenger campaign. On the website, Blinks can unlock exclusive content by going to the location tagged on the map.
Blackpink will release the single “Pink Venom” this Friday at 1PM KST. The single is a part of their “Born Pink” album, available on September 16.
Furthermore, the girls is performing at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28.
