Manila, Philippines, June 21, 2022 — South Korea’s no. 1 hit crime film The RoundUp has finally arrived in the country.

Ma Dong Seok aka Don Lee returns as a hard-nosed investigator tasked to track down a criminal who escaped to Vietnam, only to meet a mystery killer more merciless than the criminal they’re meant to bring back.
Meanwhile, Son Suk Ku, the lead actor in My Liberation Notes, also appears in the film as a mob hitman who preys on innocent tourists.
As of this writing, THE ROUNDUP is the first Korean movie screened in the Philippines simultaneously with Korea.
“The problem kasi with Korean movies, usually tapos na siya ipalabas sa mga sinehan sa Korea, dun pa siya ipapalabas dito. So sobrang huli na. Train To Busan, for example, was months after it was shown in Korea. We wanted to be like the Hollywood movies na simultaneously showing in the Philippines ang Korean movies.”
Grace Lee, CEO of Glimmer Inc, the distributor of THE ROUNDUP in the Philippines
One of Glimmer Inc.’s goals is to have K-movies screened in the Philippines simultaneously with Korea, exactly like the Hollywood films here in the country.

Glimmer Inc. is the official distributor of ‘THE ROUNDUP’ in Philippine Cinemas headed by Grace Lee, a South Korean TV host and radio DJ who worked in the Philippines and is one of the few Korean nationals who has a prominent role in Philippine television.
The company aims to be “… the bridge between the Philippines and Korea for entertainment and cultural exchange.”
Meanwhile, The Roundup will exclusively screen in SM Cinemas starting tomorrow, June 22.
