Yoo Jae Suk announced his departure from FNC Entertainment.
The said agency confirmed the news on July 6 with an official statement:
“We would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with Yoo Jae Suk will end on July 15th.”
They continued, “We respect Yoo Jae Suk’s wishes, and we are going to end our management work [with him] and support each other’s future.”
“Also, we would like to thank the fans for their unwavering love and support [for him], and we ask for your continued support in the future. Thank you.”
The comedian was formerly a one-man agency until he signed with FNC Entertainment on July 16, 2015.
Afterward, he renewed his contract for another three years, later in July 2018.
Hence, his exclusive contract with FNC Entertainment is officially ending on July 15, 2021.
According to JTBC, both Yoo Jae Suk and FNC Entertainment have agreed to not renew the contract.
In addition, a couple of industry representatives reported that the comedian will be signing with Antenna Music.
An Antenna source shares that although there has been discussions around, nothing has been confirmed as of the moment.
Antenna is a company currently headed by famous musician, and Jae Suk’s friend, Yoo Hee Yeol.
