INFINITE’s Sungjong officially discharged from the military, sends warm message to fans
Welcome back, INFNITE’s Lee Sungjong!
Woollim Entertainment shared on May 8 that the INFINITE’s youngest member, Lee Sungjong has fulfilled his duty as an active public service worker since he enlisted on July 22, 2019.
“I am sorry that I couldn’t tell INSPIRIT before I left and entered the camp. I will repay you with a lot of activities as much as I am sorry,” he said through the agency.
Sungjong added, “I hope COVID-19 will be gone quickly, so that we could meet face-to-face and not through online. I will come back with good activities and contents. Thank you very much.”
Early in the morning of May 8, he also posted on his Instagram account a photo of himself wearing black suit while holding a bouquet of flowers.
The caption of the photo says, Inspirits~~ You’ve missed me a lot, right? I successfully fulfilled my military duties and came back in good health! I miss you so much, Inspirits ㅠ_ㅠ Let’s meet more often from now on after we missed each other ♡ Always stay healthy! Promise me!

Lee Sungjong, who debuted as an INFINITE member in 2010, is the group’s kind and brave maknae known for his angelic voice and comforting smile.
He appeared in numerous entertainment programs such as SBS’ Law of the Jungle in TONGA , Channel A’s Return to Sell, a long-time DJ in EBS radio Midnightable FOR, and in the SBS’ short-form drama, Sudden Nurse.
Moreover, Lee Sungjong will meet his fans on V Live tomorrow, May 9 at 5 pm KST to celebrate his official discharge in the military.
