Our much awaited season for New Journey to the West is airing soon!
tvN’s instagram account has dropped their teaser informing fans that Season 8 of New Journey to the West is currently ongoing.
The post states that the members are currently shooting today (September 14, 2020). The post also features the members with their new costumes. A quiz was currently being done and a member who can guess the answer correctly can eat a dish. What makes it surprising is that the winner will hold a surprise live on Channel Full Moon’s Youtube Channel.
Few minutes later, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun was revealed as the wife of Nolbu which was based on a popular bedtime stories in Korea. He wears a hanbok and make-up surprising the fans with his look.
Following Kyuhyun, Kang Ho Dong was the next member featured in the live. He clarifies that he is not Nolbu and asks the viewers to stay tune to know his role.
The last member revealed was SECHKIES’ Eun Ji Won who was an Angry Bird.
Aside from Ahn Jae Hyun, the original members consisting of Kang Ho Dong, SECHKIES’ Eun Ji Won, Super Junior’s Cho Kyuhyun Lee Soo Geun, BLOCK B’s P.O and WINNER’s Mino will return for the upcoming season.
New Journey to the West Season 8 will premier on October 9, at 9:10PM KST.
