In an exclusive online media showcase of (G)I-DLE organized by Cube Entertainment on August 3, (G)I-DLE showed off with their most refreshing songs and performances this summer.
Following the release of “I Trust” with “Oh My God” and “I’m THE TREND,” (G)I-DLE came back tonight with their single “DUMDi DUMDi,” girls’ first summer song since their debut.
Through the showcase, members got to express their thoughts and experiences while they were preparing for the comeback.
As shared, “DUMDi DUMDi” is a dance song where you can feel the special summer; it is a song created by So-Yeon, group leader, together with the famous composer Pop Time.
It features honest and intuitive lyrics and addictive melodies such as hot, cool, passion, and excitement reminiscent of summer and youth.
On the Q&A portion, one of the media asked, “What are the goals that they want to achieve through this comeback?”
Sujin answered, “(I) we want the first place in the music chart. I want to get a unique modifier,” with full of confidence and aspiration.
