Get ready for a new idol search show as powerhouse performer Rain and Block B member and producer/CEO Zico team up to be mentors in the new idol search show, I-LAND.
BELIF+, the joint company of Big Hit Entertainment and CJ ENM, releases the idol search as their first project. Big Hit Entertainment CEO/PD Bang Si Hyuk is the main producer of the show along with Rain and Zico.
Global star and performer Rain will be a great addition to the show as he recounts and shares his years of expertise and experience. As a first gen K-Pop idol who hit the world stages like a storm, he will be a mentor with the experience that will definitely help the contestants of the show.
As another big name in the industry, KOZ Entertainment CEO Zico will also be a part of the show as a mentor. With his experience as an idol himself as part of Block B as well as his stints at Show Me The Money, Produce 101, and his self made company, Zico will surely be a relatable figure among the hopeful contestants.
Namgoong Min will be the host, called ‘storyteller’ for I-Land. I-Land will premiere this July 26. Watch the first teaser for the show below:
