The excitement continues for the upcoming drama of Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung!
Still photos from the first script reading of Convenience Store Saet Byul (literal title) was released on May 7. Captured are the main actors who are both immersed in their roles as they read through their lines. The contrast between an all-smiling Ji Chang Wook and a fierce-looking Kim Yoo Jung somehow gives a hint on the striking relationship between the two in the drama.

Present in the table reading as well are the supporting cast members who will bring to life the other characters in the story and the production team behind the series. In attendance are former Secret member Han Sun Hwa who will play the role of Ji Chang Wook’s girlfriend, LABOUM’s Solbin who will take on the role of Kim Yoo Jung’s younger sister, seasoned actors Lee Byung Joon as Ji Chang Wook’s father and Woo Hyun, as the owner of a neighborhood restaurant.

The rom-com drama is based on the hit webtoon of the same name which tells the story of convenience store owner Choi Dae Hyun (played by Ji Chang Wook) and part-time employee Jung Saet Byul (played by Kim Yoo Jung). How these two will relate to each other is what the viewers should look forward to.
Lee Myung Woo who is behind the hit comedy The Fiery Priest will direct this drama.
Convenience Store Saet Byul is set to air on SBS this June 12 replacing the timeslot of Lee Min Ho’s The King: Eternal Monarch.
