2PM’s Taecyeon is back again in the film screen!
According to his agency on May 7th, Taecyeon will be having his first historical role in the upcoming film Hansan.
Hansan directed by Kim Hanmin is a film version of Hansando Daecheop. It tells the story of the Battle of Hansan Island, a battle between Korean and Japanese naval forces that happened on July 8, 1592.
Taecyeon will be playing the role of Im Joon Young, a Korean naval force that protects and serves the country.
Although Taecyeon already played various of roles since his debut, Hansan will be his first-ever historical project.
Moreover, Park Hae II, Byun Yo Han, and Kim Sung Kyu will also be joining the said historical film.
Hansan will begin filming in the second half of 2020.
