ICYMI: Girls' Generation Yoona confirmed to star in new JTBC drama!

Girls’ Generation Yoona has confirmed to star in upcoming JTBC drama “Hush“. It was announced by JTBC production on March 25.

“Hush” is based on the novel Silence Advisory (literal translation), it is an office drama about the life of a journalist and how they deal with the hardships of working in a newspaper company.

Yoona will portray the role as Lee Ji Soo. An intern with a strong personality. She is someone who is not afraid to say whatever she wants to say even during her interview.

Hwang Jung Min will take the role as Han Jun Hyuk. He will become Lee Ji Soo’s mentor and will make her realize and chase to be a real journalist.

This drama will be Yoona’s comeback after starring in a saeguk (historical) drama The King is In Love in 2017.

She also won an Acting award at 2019 Women’s Film of the Year Awards Ceremony from her recent movie Exit.

Hush is set to premiere in the second half of 2020.
