Yes, you’ve read the headline correctly mga bes! BIGBANG is set to start their 2020 comeback by performing in one of the most popular music festival in the United States, Coachella!
Last night, BIGBANG’s T.O.P teased his fans with a hint post of a cropped image of Coachella on his instagram.
Most fans assumed that it was him casually joking around with everyone. But Coachella confirmed the news by releasing their line-up on Twitter:
Weekend 1 is sold out 🌴 Register for Weekend 2 presale at https://t.co/x8PRTb12Eh. Presale starts Monday 1/6 at 12pm PT pic.twitter.com/QPRYnJVe9P— Coachella (@coachella) January 3, 2020
You can see in the post that BIGBANG will be performing on Coachella’s first and second fridays: April 10 & 17. While Epik High will be performing on the Sundays April 12 & 19.
Together with BIGBANG, Epik High will also be performing on the said music festival! They will be the third and fourth Korean acts to perform following BLACKPINK and Hyukoh’s Coachella performance last year.
T.O.P held a secret fanmeeting during his honorary discharge, while G-Dragon, Daesung, and Taeyang had a welcoming event on their respective discharges. Seungri took a break from the group when he was involved in a scandal.
This mark’s the two group’s first public activity for this year!
We hope that the performance will be live streamed like last year!
