[BREAKING] Lee Hi Part Ways With YG Entertainment
It was revealed today that Lee Hi is set to leave YG Entertainment at the end of 2019.
Lee Hi debuted in YG Entertainment after placing a runner-up on the talent survival program, “K-Pop Star Season 1” last 2011. She released her first single, 1.2.3.4 First Love under the said label. However, following her 7 years of debut, Lee Hi has decided to leave YG Entertainment.
Earlier this year, Lee Hi made her comeback with her album, 24C and her title track, No One features B.I of iKON.

On this very last day of 2019, I will be leaving my home, YG Entertainment. Looking back, I have shared a lot of memories.
The 16 year-old that perhaps was reckless enough and has auditioned to YG was a child that pursued her dream with the help of her sister.
I was able to release my first single album, 1.2.3.4 First Love. The moment I heard my voice when I was recording my first song felt amazing but I was nervous too whenever I record my albums. It still feels like yesterday.
Before I became a singer, I always thought that time always go by fast but looking back, I was able to release my first album at 17, and now I have 3 albums at 24 and indeed, time really go by fast.
On the other hand, I feel a bit sad and happy since it is a precious memory that I will never forget. Yes, it wasn’t easy but I know I had to move forward.
I will never forget the memories I have shared and people, friends and family that I have met and I worked with. This decision has been given a lot of time to think of and I thank you all for your support and for supporting me in this new journey.
