We will continue to support Lee Hi who has built her own unique image in the YG Entertainment for the past seven years.
Please continue to cheer for Lee Hi despite her departure from our agency.
Later on, Lee Hi has also confirmed the news in her personal Instagram stating her memories throughout her stay in the entertainment.
Hello everyone, this is Lee Hi.
On this very last day of 2019, I will be leaving my home, YG Entertainment. Looking back, I have shared a lot of memories.
The 16 year-old that perhaps was reckless enough and has auditioned to YG was a child that pursued her dream with the help of her sister.
I was able to release my first single album, 126.96.36.199 First Love. The moment I heard my voice when I was recording my first song felt amazing but I was nervous too whenever I record my albums. It still feels like yesterday.
Before I became a singer, I always thought that time always go by fast but looking back, I was able to release my first album at 17, and now I have 3 albums at 24 and indeed, time really go by fast.
On the other hand, I feel a bit sad and happy since it is a precious memory that I will never forget. Yes, it wasn’t easy but I know I had to move forward.
I will never forget the memories I have shared and people, friends and family that I have met and I worked with. This decision has been given a lot of time to think of and I thank you all for your support and for supporting me in this new journey.
I will do my best to give you fresh and new music. I will meet you soon! May your New Year be full of better things. X
We will continue on cheering for you, Lee Hi! We hope to hear your new music soon!
