CONFIRMED: Jisoo to star in new drama

Kim Jisoo is confirmed on Thursday to star in a new drama “Amanza.”

He is yet to shoot for the drama that is based on a Webtoon by Kim Bo-tong.

It is about a young man who is diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer at the age of 26.

The drama will revolve around his journey towards his treatment and his attempt to cope with it by retreating to his subconscious where he finds hope, miracles, and answers.

Amanza is the first stint of Kakao M when it comes to digital content production and is set to be the start of their venture into producing original/exclusive video content.

Jisoo is well known for his roles in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon as Detective Kook-Doo, Wang Jung in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and in Netflix’ My First First Love as Tae-oh.

With positive buzz from these K-dramas, we are pretty sure that this will be another success for the actor.
