Ma Dong Seok confirms to be part of Marvel Studios movie “The Eternals”

Ma Dong Seok, also known as Don Lee, will finally be making his American film debut in an upcoming Marvel movie titled The Eternals.

The actor had his break-out performance in Train to Busan as the supporting actor with a character name, Sang Hwa.

On July 20 (US Time) at San Diego Comic Con, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige introduced the cast of The Eternals. Then, Ma Dong Seok was named as one of the stars who will be working with Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Moreover, The Eternals is a comic book series created by Jack Kirby way back in 1976. In which, it is a race of immortal beings called the Eternals that was birthed millions of years ago as a result of genetic experiments on Earth by the Celestials. Additionally, it depicts the story of Ellenes, a supermodel made by Celestial who came to Earth to test the humanity millions of years ago.

Subsequently, the said Marvel movie is known to be a major turning point in the past, present, and future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As the characters are associated with numerous heroes on Earth and in outer space. 

Meanwhile, Ma Dong Seok will play the role of Gilgamesh; a hero with a superhuman powers who has the ability to match the likes of Thor and Hercules.
