It was recently confirmed that IU‘s former Scarlet Heart Ryeo co-star will join the ongoing drama, Hotel Del Luna.
Lee Joon Gi‘s agency, Namoo Actors, released a statement that he will be appearing as a close friend of IU starting on the third episode of the drama.
IU and Lee Joon Gi became close and has supported each other since after their Scarlet Heart Ryeo drama wherein both played the lead roles. Their friendship is famous as both have been helping each other out in their recent projects, such as attending each others’ fan meetings.
Lee Joon Gi even helped IU when she visited JTBC’s Knowing Brothers.
