Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo filed a divorce

It is with a heavy heart that I write this article. As you all know, I am a huge fan of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo also known to the public as “Song Song couple”.

The whole world celebrated their love story. Sadly, the happiness did not stay long.

On the morning of June 27, a news was released that Song Joong Ki filed a divorce from Song Hye Kyo at the Seoul Family Court on Wednesday June 26.

An online portal shared Song Joong Ki’s statement in which he said:

“Hello. This is Song Joong Ki. First, I’d like to apologize for delivering this unfortunate news to the many fans who love and care for me. I have begun the process of filing for divorce from Song Hye Kyo. Rather than denouncing one another and arguing over who is to blame, I hope that the divorce process can be wrapped up amicably. I ask for your understanding in regards to the fact that it is difficult to discuss the details of my personal life, and I will recover from my current wounds and do my utmost as an actor to repay you through great productions in the future. Thank you.”

As a fan of both artists, I think the best we can do is not take sides and wish them both happiness as they take their separate ways 😢 As they say, life don’t always work out as how we expect it but life should go on.
