On January 17, Ong Seong-woo, who has completed his activities as a Wanna One member, confirms his appearance as the main character an upcoming jTBC drama ’18 Moments’. This drama will be the start of his career as an actor.
JTBC’s new drama 18 Moments, directed by Yoon Kyung-ah and Shim Na-yeon, tells the story of Choi Jun-woo, an 18 year-old student who faces struggles and adjusments as he transfers schools.
“I feel nervous and excited about my new career” Ong Seong-woo said through his agency. “I will do it with respect because I have dreamed of it for a long time. For me, it’s not just a challenge. I will work hard, so please watch out for it.” he added.
Meanwhile, Ong Seong-woo recently opened his personal instagram account.
Ong is reportedly planning to hold a solo fanmeeting in Korea on the second half this year. He also plans for an overseas fanmeeting to be able to meet his international fans personally. According to the reports, Ong is in talks with his agency, Fantagio, about his plans for his fans. They are also discussing his plans to release a solo album.
