The trainees were chosen through a voting done by 300 Treasure Makers and Producer Yang Hyun-suk.
The 20 trainees are divided into 4 groups — Team Dumb and Dumber (Byounggon, Kim Junkyu, Kim Doyoung, Mashiho, and Ha Yoonbin); Team DNA (Yedam, Seunghun, Haruto, Jeongwoo and Keita); Team Boomerang (Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yeongue, Yoshinori and Dohwan); and Team Growl (Jeonghwan, Seokhwa, Jaehyuk, Jongseob, and Yunseo).
Team Dumb and Dumber scores 864 which gives all the members a guaranteed spot on the Top 11. Team DNA follows with a total vote of 812 and two of the members got eliminated. While Team Boomerang has 647 votes resulting to the elimination of their three members. Unfortunately, Team Growl ended with 607 votes and four members got eliminated.The 11 trainees who made to the final round are: Byounggon, Junkyu, Doyoung, Yoonbin, Mashiho, Yedam, Haruto, Jeongwoo, Hyunsuk, Jihoon and Jeonghwa.
On the last part of the episode, it was revealed two of the eliminated trainees will have a chance to compete on the final round.
