Stars of the Thai GL (girls’ love) series ClaireBell Mable and Pangjie–collectively known as BleJie–are set to light hearts on fire this Valentine weekend for their first fan meeting in Manila on February 15, 2026, at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

Before all the kilig, let’s get to know the stars and the show with some fun facts!

ClaireBell is Thailand’s first prison-set GL

ClaireBell is widely recognized as Thailand’s first GL set in prison, a significant departure from the usual GLs set in high school, college, or the workplace. The series follows Bell, who is wrongfully imprisoned for drug possession. In prison, she meets and develops a relationship with Claire, a feared and dangerous inmate.

ClaireBell is an original GL series created, written, and produced by the real-life Thai actor-actress couple Davika and Ter

ClaireBell was produced by the Thai production company Mine Media Production, which is owned and founded by prominent figures in the Thai entertainment industry and real-life couple, Davika Hoorne and Ter Chantavit.

Following the success of the show and the undeniable chemistry between the two, both on and off-camera, Davikah confirmed that a second series for BleJie is in the works.

ClaireBell boasts a star-studded cast that helped bring the story together.

Aside from creating, writing, and producing, real-life couple Davika and Ter also appeared as important characters in the show. Davika plays Mint, a sibling searching for truth, and Ter plays Jade, Bell’s lawyer.

Actress Belle Kemisara, widely known for starring in shows like Hormones, Remember You, and Start-Up, plays Kae, an inmate who befriends Belle. How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies actress Taew Usha plays Pon, an elderly inmate whom Claire is protective of. Veteran and award-winning actress Noon Siraphan plays Dao, the oldest and leader of the 3D gang who made Claire’s and Bell’s lives difficult inside the prison.

GL actress Charlotte Austin (known for the GL series Petrichor) made a cameo appearance as one of the inmates, and singer and actor Ice Paris (known for the series Bad Genius and the BL series Great Men Academy) appeared as a fictionalized version of himself in a short scene.

The prison setting is fake and was built from scratch

While shooting in a real prison would be the practical thing to do, as most people would think, ClaireBell creators Davika and Ter chose to build the prison setting from scratch, right in the middle of Bangkok. This allowed them to even add each character’s personality into the cells. You can learn more about their process in the show’s documentary series here.

There is a ClaireBell novel

ClaireBell is an original series, with Mai and Ter originating the concept and script. While there exists a ClaireBell novel, the show was not adapted from the novel. Instead, the show’s script came first, and then they asked author KA9ESAMA, to write it into a novel. They gave the author freedom to write however they liked, as long as the main plot was kept.
