In a major development regarding the future of NewJeans, ADOR, the agency behind the K-pop girl group, has officially announced the termination of Danielle’s exclusive contract. In an official statement released today, ADOR clarified that they had notified Danielle about the decision to end her contract, stating that “It had become difficult for Danielle to continue both as a member of NewJeans and an artist at ADOR.” The statement also revealed the agency’s intent to pursue legal action against Danielle’s family and former CEO Min Hee-jin, citing their responsibility for not only the internal conflicts within NewJeans but also for the delays in the members’ return to the agency.

This latest update comes after a series of legal battles that began earlier this year. In October, the court ruled in favor of ADOR in a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contracts for NewJeans members. The decision accelerated developments within the group, leading to a significant shift in the lineup.

In a surprising turn of events, just a month and a half ago, ADOR revealed that Haerin and Hyein had made the decision to reconcile with the agency. Their decision was seen as a key turning point, especially as it marked the first signs of resolution after the earlier issue surrounding the group. In the wake of this, three of the remaining members: Minji, Hanni, and Danielle, also made public statements confirming their intention to return to ADOR.

The developments surrounding NewJeans and ADOR have raised significant attention in the K-pop industry, with many fans wondering what the next steps will be for both the group and the agency. ADOR has pledged to continue supporting the members who have chosen to stay, with plans for future projects and collaborations in the works.
